Watch Ozzy Osbourne Resume Solo Career With First Show of "Mini Tour"

July 18, 2017

With BLACK SABBATH officially “done,” don’t look for OZZY OSBOURNE playing shuffleboard at the retirement home or attending the next AARP meeting! No, the OZZMAN is back on the road as a solo artist with a mini-tour that kicked off in Wisconsin recently.

Appearing at the Rock USA Festival in Oshkosh, OZZY played the first of a total of only 8 scheduled performances between now and early November and turned in a performance of a dozen songs featuring a combo platter of BLACK SABBATH classics (4) and OZZY’s solo career (8). (See complete set list below.)

Joining Ozzy for the first time in almost a dozen years is guitarist ZAKK WYLDE, who was Osbourne’s main axeman from 1988-2007 and who in addition to his own band, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, also coincidentally has a side band that he calls Zakk Sabbath.

The mini-tour will end on November 4th in San Bernardino, California when OZZY once again teams up with the band SLIPKNOT for another KnotFest extravaganza, which will also feature Prophets of Rage, Deftones, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, and Stone Sour. Additionally, OZZY is at work on a new solo album, which would be his first album since the Scream album in 2010.

Rock on!
