WATCH: Did You Miss This Metallica WorldWired Rehearsal?

May 10, 2017

On the eve of their WorldWired Tour, METALLICA treated a few hundred fans, and the rest of the world watching on a Facebook Live Stream, to their final rehearsal in Baltimore. The heavy metal masters ripped through 4 songs for the event, which was called "Now That We're Live," which was a nod to the current single from the new LP, "Now That We're Dead."

Additionally, The Metallicats were able to tie in their favorite charity organization, the "All Within My Hands Foundation," which raised over $3,000 from viewer donations. The foundation raises money and supports school music programs, food banks, and “a cross-section of national, local, and Bay Area charities that the individual band members support.”

Apparently, all involved had a great time, as evidenced by this comment from METALLICA Drummer, LARS ULRICH“It’s great to be back here,” Ulrich told THE Baltimore ABC Television affiliate. “The memory is a little foggy but Hammerjacks 30 years ago. It’s just amazing that people still care. We’re like little kids still just running around going ‘Oh my God.’ Running around with a rock ‘n’ roll band in your early 50s is kind of pretty cool, pretty cool.”

Watch the video for electrifying performances of “Atlas, Rise!,” “For Whom the Bell Tolls,” “Now That We’re Dead,” & “Battery.” Rock On!
