Here's a list of all the Fireworks displays we've found in the Upstate.  If you know of others that should be on our list, please EMAIL US and we'll add it.

Tuesday, July 3

Clemson, Clemson University Campus Beach, Clemson University Recreation Area, 275 YMCA Cir, Seneca, SC 29678
“25th Annual ClemsonFest”  Gates open at 5PM with music from the Carolina Coast Band beginning at 6PM. Children’s area, food venders. No pets, coolers or swimming. Fireworks at 9:30PM.  Admission is $5 per person or $10 per carload.

Easley, downtown at Old Market Square
Celebrate America Festival is 2 days, July 3 & 4, with carnival rides and food vendors starting at 2PM both days.  Cruise-In on July 3 from 5PM-10PM. A concert each night.  Fireworks at 9:45PM on July 4.  FREE admission to concerts and fireworks.

Slater-Marietta, Slater Mill Field (across from Beechwood Farms,) 205 Bates Bridge Road, Marietta, SC 29690
“Freedom Fest” (formally Moon Boom) begins at 5PM.   Arts, crafts, food, live entertainment. Fireworks at 10PM.  Freedom Fest will recognize 100 year anniversary of WW1 from the Old Hickory Unit that trained in Marietta.  Event is FREE, but parking is $10 per car. This event is sponsored by the Slater Marietta Lions Club and 100% of the proceeds go to the SM free Eye Care Clinic.

Wednesday, July 4

Easley, Old Market Square downtown
Easley 32nd Annual Firecracker Frolic 5K Race starts at 7:30AM rain or shine.  Runners and walkers. $20 to participate.  Money raised by the Easley Lions Club at this event goes to sight conservation and assistance for residents
of Pickens County in need of financial aid in obtaining vision services.

Greenville, Downtown and West End
“Wells Fargo Red, White, and Blue Festival” is a giant annual event in Downtown Greenville and the West End (including Fluor Field) that includes live music on multiple stages, food, drinks, and a kid zone. Festival beings at 5PM. Fireworks launch at 9:45PM.  Best viewing will be on South Main Street from Augusta Street to Anderson Street and inside Fluor Field at the West End.  Complete info on parking, bands, kids’ activities, vender locations and more is available on the City of Greenville website.  All City events are smoke free. Pets, skateboards, bicycles or coolers are NOT allowed at this event. FREE event.

Inman, Holly Springs Fire and Rescue District, 3301 Highway 357, Inman, South Carolina 29349
“Holly Springs Fire District’s Annual Salute to America” block party begins at 11AM with BBQ and food venders.  Classic Car Cruz-In at 5PM.  Live music from 7PM-9:30PM. Fireworks at 9:30PM.  FREE event.

Liberty, Liberty Elementary School, 251 North Hillcrest Street, Liberty, SC 29657


“Love my Liberty & Fireworks Spectacular.”  Food, activities, military vehicles, music with Split Shot and band member Chris Lee from Classic Rock 101.1.  Event starts at 6PM.  Fireworks at dark.  FREE event.

Pickens, Pickens Amphitheater, 114 W Main St, Pickens, SC 29671
“4th of July Celebration” with music by the Jake Bartley Band at 7PM. Venders will offer food for sale. Fireworks at 10PM.  FREE event

Spartanburg, Barnet Park, 248 E St John St, Spartanburg, SC 29306
 “Red, White, and Boom,” Spartanburg’s annual Independence Day celebration will take place from 6PM to 10PM.  Fun, food, live music and more. Gates open at 5PM. $5 per person. Children 6 and under are free. 

 

OVER THE BORDER in North Carolina

Wednesday July 4

Hendersonville, downtown Hendersonville at the visitor’s center, 201 South Main Street.
Live outdoor music from 7PM-9PM. Fireworks at dark.

Brevard, various locations
For a charming small-town 4th of July Celebration, go to Brevard. Included are 5K/10K Firecracker Run, bike parade, Fine Arts & Craft Festival, classic car show and fireworks. During the day, downtown streets are closed. The Courthouse Gazebo is center stage for day-long musical entertainment.  Evening fun is at Brevard College starting at 6PM. Fireworks at 9:30PM.
