Easily the most anticipated race of the 2018 season, this year’s ROVAL race promises to be a game-changer in the NASCAR playoffs----

Cutoff race for playoff Round One--- Field goes from 16 to 12

ROVAL course is one-of-a-kind----Combo of fast, high-banked oval and tight, technical road course---EVERY TURN MATTERS ---  17-turn, 2.28-mile course.

NEW FOR 2019:  A new backstretch chicane was added over the summer that will create a harder braking zone.   BRAKING MEANS PASSING.   More excitement for fans.

EVENT WEEKEND INCLUDES:

Friday- Bojangles’ Qualifying Day – drivers set the field for Sunday’s main event and a giant STEM EXPO for more than 1,500 students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Saturday- Drive for the Cure 250 presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield  (NASCAR Xfinity Series playoff race); followed by a Rock the ROVAL party on the frontstretch (YACHT Rock Revue and Tim Dugger concerts; Trackside Live stage appearances by Ryan Blaney and the Saturday race winner

Sunday-  Bank of America ROVAL 400.   Pre-Race concert with Chris Lane and Mario Andretti is the honorary pace car driver.  Green Flag at 2:30 pm.   Giant 10-acre FAN Zone full of interactive fun.
