Bank of America ROVAL 400 Race Weekend (Friday-Sat-Sun)

A  history-making week for NASCAR and all of motorsports at Charlotte Motor Speedway---The ROVAL races have been the most anticipated and talked-about races of the season.

Bank of America ROVAL 400 --- First ever road course race for NASCAR Cup Series playoffs ---- 2.28 mile course w/17 turns, and at 400 km, the longest/most challenging road course on the circuit for both the drivers and the cars

Cutoff race --- 4 drivers will no longer contend for a championship after the playoff field cuts from 16 to 12 following the ROVAL Cup race

Unique for fans because it will be the only road course where fans can sit in the grandstands and see the entire course.

Busy weekend and cooler temperatures expected --- Bojangles Qualifying Friday; Drive for the Cure 200 presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield on Saturday and Bank of America ROVAL 400 on Sunday----and it's all on the new ROVAL.   SUNDAY’s WEATHER FORECAST IS SUNNY AND 82!

Entirely new look/feel for the Charlotte Motor Speedway infield --- new field turf, patriotic paint scheme, infield pedestrian bridge for campers---and even a 90-ft ferris wheel in our Sun Deck fan area, and a bullfighting exhibition Sunday in the fan zone
