Slash Planning New Solo LP For Late 2018

March 22, 2018

While acknowledging that he remains committed to his work with GUNS N' ROSESSlash is very excited about his next solo effort for which the recording process has already begun.

The only other information revealed is that there are plans for the album to be released in Fall 2018 and that there will be a full North American tour after it comes out.

This will be the third solo outing for the guitarist, and he's once again enlisted the aid of singer Myles Kennedy and the band The Conspirators. Also rejoining Slash in the studio is producer Michael Baskette, who was in the control room for the previous album, World On Fire (2014).

Slash has already logged more than 8 years with Myles and The Conspirators, and he's very excited about the new record, lauding its "cool songs" and "great live feel."

Of course, there are still obligations to fill with Guns N' Roses, specifically headlining a bunch of European music festivals this summer, for which Slash also has great anticipation and excitement, exclaiming that the GnR European trip will be "a 110% performance and a huge blast." Rock on, Slash!
