Roger Waters has shared the video for his Is This The Life We Really Want song “Wait for Her."

The poignant video alternates between shots of Waters recording the song with his band and a flamenco dancer getting ready in her dressing room—the flamenco dancer’s scenes being essential because the song calls for more than what the band could provide on its own, as the video’s Film and Creative Director, Sean Evans, explained to Rolling Stone.

“Wait for Her” contains lyrics inspired by “Lesson From the Kama Sutra (Wait for Her),” a poem written by Mahmoud Darwish. The above video was meant not only to match the somber tone of Waters’ interpretation of the late Palestinian poet’s piece but also to serve as both a continuation and a prelude to Waters’ previously released video for “The Last Refugee” (below), Evans explained.

Both songs are featured on the Pink Floyd bassist’s latest album, Is This The Life We Really Want, which is out now.
