In a recent episode of The Talk, Sharon Osbourne called KISS bassist Gene Simmons “crazy” for attempting to trademark the devil horns sign.

In June 2017, Simmons filed an application to trademark the "devil horns" hand gesture used at rock shows. The gesture also happens to serve as the sign for "I love you" in American Sign Language. And, as Osbourne points out, the hand gesture also means “the devil” in Italian, which is why kids have been making the sign at rock concerts long before Simmons claims to have first used it in ’74.

Below, catch the full conversation!

Simmons did eventually withdraw his application to trademark the hand gesture.
