A big night for music and the environment is in the works at New York’s Carnegie Hall for November 5, 2017, the night before the COP23—the United Nations climate change conference.

The event, the 2017 Pathway to Paris concert, will feature returning artists Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Patti Smith as well as newcomers like Michael Stipe (R.E.M.) and more.

Pathway to Paris is an ever-changing collaborative effort that seeks solutions to climate change. Founded in 2014 by Rebecca Foon and Patti Smith’s daughter Jesse Paris Smith, Pathway to Paris’ first concert took place in Paris.
