After Brian Johnson faced the potential for irreversible hearing loss, he stepped down as AC/DC’s lead singer, passing the baton off to none other than Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose in 2016. And while the move was, for the most part, fairly well-received, it left fans wondering whether Rose would become a permanent fixture in the band.

Now, as Alternative Nation reports, it looks like we have some answers thanks to the below Facebook post left by Murray Engleheart, a highly respected journalist with deep ties to the band.

In the post, Engleheart claims that AC/DC will record new music and continue touring “with Axl on vocals.” Read the full statement below.

So, there you have it. We'll see how this all plays out!

GnR are set to continue touring this summer as the chart-topping Not in This Lifetime world tour takes them through Europe.
